 Doug
Balzer - Lead Pastor
Doug has been the Senior Pastor of HRAC since 1998. Doug's primary responsibilities are to provide
visionary leadership as well as relevant, engaging, biblical teaching in
our Sunday Services. His passion is to lead a church where authentic
faith is pursued by people regardless of where they find themselves in
relation to Jesus. When not spending time with his wife Teri and their
two boys, Jason and Austin, Doug enjoys building furniture in his
workshop, cheering for the Blue Jays and riding his motorcycle.

 Kathy Blain - Pastor of Children's Ministries

Kathy has been involved with
children’s ministries for fifteen years, being a part of the pastoral
team at HRAC since 2001. Besides finding fulfillment in working with
such a fun age group, she is also able to bring her artistic energies
into the mix. Kathy has been married to her husband, Bill, for 21 years
now, and they have been blessed with two awesome children. In her spare
time she enjoys reading, gardening, and riding the mountain trails with
their horses. Kathy will be concluding her role as Pastor of
Children's Ministries in the next few months as we seek to find someone
to lead this ministry into the next chapter.

Balzer -
Interim Director of Youth Ministry

Teri began her role as Interim
Director of Youth Ministry at the end of January 2008 and is serving
until the end of this coming June. She has a passion to see young
people know how big God is and how much he loves them....and she loves
having fun - lots of fun!
 Judy von Kampen - Office
Administrator -
Judy has served on our staff since
2002. Judy enjoys being involved in many different aspects of church
life. Desk-top publishing and administrative tasks are some of her
strengths. Judy and her husband, Peter, have lived in High River and
called HRAC their church home for the past 17 years. They have three
wonderful kids, Thea, Trevor, and Matthew - who make life interesting
and rewarding - and have recently added Judy's niece, Corinna, to the
household! Judy's favourite pastimes outside of the church office are
playing piano, reading, making cards and watching movies.
 Al
Walters - Pastor of Community Care
Al has served part time on our
pastoral team since 2002 and finds it both thrilling and a privilege to
teach, counsel, and encourage people. Al really enjoys life and
embraces all of the challenges and opportunities that come his way.
When not ministering as a pastor, Al enjoys fishing and camping with his
wife Anne, golfing, reading good books, and being involved with
different types of ministries such as Samaritan's Purse and the
Gleaners.
